Farewell To Tracey Bratby

It is so sad to have to let everyone know that another member has left us.  Tracey Bratby, wife of Martyn Bratby, passed away on 18th August 2019 after a tragic accident. Tracey & Martyn joined the club around 2009, Martyn with his Indian and Tracey with her Harley.  The first time I met them both was at the Welsh rally in 2009.  She was “full-on” most of the time (her words) and a fantastic cook who loved to surprise us all with her cakes at weekends, which were shared with all.  Pete and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary in the same year at Tracey & Martyn, 2016, even down to the same pearl anniversary cake

Tracey struggled over the last few years and was not her normal self.  She was a biker lady through and through and it was only fitting that she was honoured on 27th September by a group of riders on her final journey.  The weather was a bit wet at times but that did not stop everyone.  Her two daughters, Danielle and Sarah rode pillion and her son Richard rode her Harley, Martyn on his Indian Chief and followed by many other club members and friends.  A sad day but the sun came out right at the end of the service, a sign from above…  Rest in Peace now Tracey xxx
